Is it? I mean it is Saturday night live, they typically have a live audience but I suppose with the flu they could be using a laugh track. Idk I don’t watch and haven’t in a long time. I have small kids and I just don’t see this as being funny, even without q being involved. I just don’t see the humor is jokes about harming kids ?♂️ If that makes me a stooge, can I at least me Mo?
In all seriousness, we can't repeat the same errors of Tipper Gore.
You got every right to be concerned for your family and children in general. Its the sign of a good heart.
As soon as we say "you cant say this, you can't make fun of that" we're literally practicing the same evil that got us here in the first place. We're also infringing on other people's First Amendment rights.
All of my (remaining) liberal friends watch their news with a slice of comedy (Daily Show, Colbert, etc). So when they see this skit, they'll laugh but then go: "I wonder if theres any truth to that if its on TV"
I agree, I think they have the right to make the joke, I just don’t have to find it funny haha. Same with the KKK and their marches. I don’t agree with their movement but they have the American right to do so, as long as it’s peaceful. We’re losing our freedom of speech here, just kinda funny that you can make these kinda jokes but saying stop the steal gets you deplatformed.
Personally, I'm way past the "neocon shock" phase at this point.
Pointing out contradictions do the Right no good, and saying them enough gets people used to them. Then they ultimately accept it as the go about their daily lives.
Thats why the SNL skit is good. They keep sprinkling the narrative, and the masses keep consuming it.
