This is ludicrous. The congress can convict someone of insurrection on a majority vote? That violates due process and it could not stand up in court (SC if necessary). Otherwise, any politician could be treated the same way by the other side if it has the majority. Greene, Hawley, Jordan, et al could all be convicted of insurrection, be removed and unable to run again.
