My guess is this will be the issue used as instigation to push us to the precipice. There are any number of ways this can be used to awaken the sleeping- mass panic, raising taxes, restrictions on travel, calling for mandatory military service for all young people just to name a few (hypothetically-speaking). I bet that would engender some massive buyers’ remorse on the left. Then the military can step in and take over.
