I am a true believer- which is why I’m not deceived by religion. You want to seek the truth? Why not look into the history of your religion. I see... your religion forbids you from questioning it, right. You blindly believe only the collection of ancient texts given to you without question because of fear.
With everything people know about politics/government today, how could some not question anything else they put into place, to include ‘religion,’
I'm not sure what you're trying to argue here, I question everything. God gave us the ability to question, a blessing for some and a curse for others. Maybe you have questioned too much? I'm not restricted by religion, or by teachers. I only serve God and his will. You don't even know me.
Why do you think it's okay to worship Jesus with pagan things?
I’m not arguing anything. There’s nothing to argue. It’s your pill to swallow, I can’t force you to! Lol
And I don’t worship Jesus or anything pagan - so not sure why you think I think it’s okay to worship Jesus with pagan things. I believe in Jesus’ teachings because they’re universal, taught in ancient religious texts that existed way before he even came into the religious scene.
Do you believe Jesus is God?
No, I don’t because Jesus never taught or said that he was God! He taught that god is spirit within him AND within us. When asked if he were the messiah, he actually said that he was - and I don’t think christians believe he’s a messiah? Which is strange, considering he said that he was, but okay. Moving along... Jesus constantly warned about keeping to his words, what he taught. So the question is, why do you believe Jesus is god.
Paul’s (the father of christianity) interpretation of what Jesus’ teachings meant is where ideas such as the trinity came into play. Paul actually admitted (boasted about it really) how he used craft to trick people. Jesus warned us about Paul - he told us not to believe anybody that said he came to them after he’s gone. And what’s Paul’s revelation? Jesus came to him, in the form of a light, right?
Of course, most don’t actually read the bible themselves, which highly encourage. If you’re curious about whether I believe in god - absolutely I do! I just don’t prescribe to established religions.
