You not following the catholic church today doesn’t matter - that christian religion’s the role in foundation of christendom would be enough for anybody waking up to the truth to question! It’s what all the what, 3k flavors of christianity are based from no matter if you like that fact or not! Your religion is doing what it designed to do, so you just continue on. Nobody can force you to go against your religion by questioning its origins! That’s something you need to do on your own! It’s not possible to question everything when you reject everything except only that which confirm your belief!
