By this alone? Maybe not. Combined with all the 17's and repeating of our slogans over the last months. Seems unlikely to be just multiple coincidences.

"In 1782, in New York, Washington created the Badge of Military Merit, a purple heart-shaped fabric badge that was presented to soldiers for meritorious action. It permitted wearers to pass guards and sentinels without challenge. Three soldiers received it during the Revolutionary War when he was commander in chief of the Continental Army."
