I know several people who lost power in Houston, one family has been out since 2:00 am last night. I know another family that didn't shut off their water and drain the pipes. Their cold water is now frozen in the lines, probably will have burst pipes when it unthaws.

Big freeze, along with freezing rain / sleet thru Thursday in Houston. Nearly every major roadway is shut down. All major bridges are shut, which you can't get around Houston without crossing bridges.
