I'm of the opinion that Twitter is covertly run by white hats these days. What they might do is clumsy, visible censorship with can be circumvented. Wakes people up both ways.

They certainly have been making weird "mistakes" lately, like how the hell did Greta Thrunberg (or more likely her handler) post the entire script for the India Farmer's Strike rather than just the tiny bit she was supposed to tweet out?
