I suppose to somebody who only thinks in collective worth, the killing of an individual or even subgroups of a population doesn’t matter. When you consider how they see the world, it becomes readily apparent how communists and the like can justify genocide, and why their ideologies always go in that direction. At their core they do not see the individually as intrinsically precious and endowed with natural rights.
