He won't concede. He won't leave. He's gonna try to steal it with voter suppression...yadayadayada...
He left. They won (supposedly), now what? The Capitol breach was planned by them. Why? Color Revolutions need violence. He lost, we stayed civilized, they breached the Capitol, we still stayed civilized. He left the WH and we still stayed civilized. Now they impeach, we stay civilized. They threaten drones, re education camps, stealing our children...we stay civilized. They have no plan. They never did. Not for what is happening anyway. They NEED VIOLENCE so they can use it to restructure and demolish America. We won't give it to them. They are surrounded by the military who won't leave. They appear to have won, but they didn't really want to! They wanted Trump to have a hissy fit so they'd have an excuse for their draconian measures. Nope. Nada. Now they have no clue what to do! And imagine not knowing if the military is there to protect you or monitor you and ultimately arrest you..then the paranoia really sets in! Bahahaha! These people are so fucked! Color Revolutions required the loser to NOT leave office and have a hissy fit. Denied! Hysterical!
What he's saying is that the Civil War was really a territorial conflict with clear fronts. Yes, since it split apart what had been one country, different members of families and friends found themselves on opposite sides of that line. A new civil war would be good guys and opponents in alternating houses as you go down the street.
A review of the country during the Civil War era will point out that families lived closer together in small farming communities and it was these communities that made up entire battalions. So it was much more likely that you were actually going to be killed standing next to your brother then fighting him.
What I take him to mean is this is a civil war of ideology, not a civil war of states rights which would be necessarily divided geographically. However these types of ideological wars do result in mass genicide for the oppressed and persecuted side.
what? Im saying it wouldnt be like the first civil war North vs South, yes it is still tragic and are still fighting brothers and sisters. Im not disagreeing. What I am stating though is today it would be viewed different, it would not be East usa vs West Usa, like a clear line. The lines would be blurred because every state has a lot of R and D from each state. Where would be the physical difference in region? West vs East? North vs South? How would that work? would we agree to a year brace period where we all move to the region we want to fight for? All R go to the east and all D go to the West, then battle? I do not believe so. I believe it would more look like all out chaos with people killing their neighbors just for being a R or D. In the first civil war it was more simple, North v south. the line was clear, where is this line and if there were a second civil war, how do we divide. All I am saying is that people call for a civil war expecting clear lines to be drawn up like in the first civil war but that does not sound feasible it sounds like it would be all out chaos and destruction.
Nor is it generally acknowledged as a proxy war between England and France. England backed the CSA knowing they’d lose. They made a fortune on cotton from India. They wanted USA to fall into their hands again. CSA was a tool for England.
A tragedy all the way around. We’re all “free range” slaves to the banks now anyway regardless of “race”.
Didn’t mean to reopen any old wounds. I don’t think it’s really possible to accurately place oneself in historical contexts. I myself, for many years romanticized Byzantium and immersed myself in books that furthered the feeling. Now I realize nothing changes. Humans are a mess in all times and places. They were as stupid and misguidedly passionate for their causes and personal interests as we moderns. The sack of Constantinople in 1204 has, I’m thankful to say has lost its power to sadden me. I’m still working on forgiving Mehmet for 1453. It’s good to have a goal.
My dad was in the Great Patriotic War (WW2 to you all) and I asked him as a boy “Were we the good guys?” He got misty and then said “In war there are no good guys and bad guys, it’s just a bunch of guys trying to survive.” I can’t imagine gaining such detachment after direct experience. I wish I had bigger holes in my own grudge bucket.
May peace be in your heart, and pardon me please for any unintended stirring of old embers. Go with God. Amen
