I kinda understand the sentiment of your post, but I have to disagree with this specifically.

It was never that easy. Cabal kept learning from their mistakes. Why do you think it took this long and this close to the cliff for this to happen? Its anything but small one person bringing down the Cabal. This was an operation decades in the making. The system we are in is a completely captured system. When we pull through this, I sure hope humanity will remember that this was a one off. One extra life for each civilization, and we just used ours.
