Agreed! This has gone to far!! I'm having minor surgery in two weeks and I specifically told the doctor not to wear a mask when he operates. I know one of his nurses who is a friend of mine and she agrees completely.

Why would you want the doctor to not wear one? If he wears one, it would be for genuine medical reasons, which is a bit different to wearing one (or choosing not to wear one) outside in public. It makes zero difference to you personally whether or not he wears one, so why do you even care?
