Kinda regretting our gas fireplace currently. Moving forward we will probably convert it. We definitely learned alot from this experience and we didn't even have it THAT bad.

My parents and my husbands parents are much like you. We do rely on them for back up but still make preps because we don't want to be a burde. Thank God for them when we do need them.
