Just thought of something. I don’t know what device you’re on, your carrier, etc. on my iPad I go into settings, choose Safari and set the search engine as DDG. I have a choice of Goog, Yahoo, Bing or DDG.

Android phone. Running inside app, not as page on another browser. Thats got to be as in their corner as it gets. Smells like some dodgy capers to me..
