Sad really because what I do see, in video of this sweet old dog walking, is one who has hip pain. And so many GSD do have that trouble as they age, even without displasia. My Johnny, a GSD, had troubles too. You GSD folks, you know what I am talking about, they have been bred in a way that can contribute to this. It just does not look like the Biden dog-boy is getting any pain meds. I hope I am wrong about that.
Mals are generally dysplasia free. Not that it doesn't happen, but far more common in GSDs, largely due to overbreeding and oversizing.
I also noticed that Xiden's GSD is showing signs of lateral myelopahty (sp) - the back legs are starting to drag a bit. My last GSD had it - so sad. Eventual inability to use rear legs.
