Sky News UK is not owned by Murdoch, funnily enough, but by Comcast (think MSNBC) via subsidiary Sky Group. It seems that Murdoch had an eye on acquiring it but lost to Comcast in a bidding war in 2016.

Therefore, there is no current corporate connection between Sky News UK and Sky News Australia, which was once part owned by Sky News UK but is now owned by News Corp (think New York Post) via News Corp Australia, so says Wikipedia.

The really confusing thing is how they both still use Sky News despite the vastly different bias and ownership.
