The jury is still out on Musk as far as I'm concerned, but like many other things Musk related, his mission on this front seems to be to bring tunnel making to the masses; to quickly and cheaply improve our infrastructure. That doesn't sound like a bad idea to me.

It vital to remember, in everything we look at; a tool is not evil. Evil people use tools for evil purposes.
