Words fail me.... an imaginary cartoon-world "nation" called "Wakanda" is now an icon for black supremacy? ....or something? So having no REAL successful black nation to point to, they have to promote the imaginary ideals and accomplishments of .... Wakanda? I would laugh, if that weren't so tragic.

More says to him, "We know of people who will sell their soul for the World... but Wales?" So we also know people who will sell their souls today for the world, but Wakanda?
Yes, it's no surprise the movie came out right at the height of the racial justice movement in Trump's America. I saw the movie for the first time a few months ago, and WOW it's clearly a propaganda piece when viewing it through a modern lens. The movie is filled with clever lines about arming black people worldwide so they can kill their oppressors and rise up to form a new society.
