As an election junkie of many many years, I feel the urge to chirp in here.
This audit is obviously good news, the more the merrier.
However, I wouldn't expect any miracles and frankly a few of the claims in the linked article are a bit suspect.
First up, voters supporting one party for state level positions and another party for national positions is far from impossible. Infact it has been the order of the day in many states for decades. For many decades following the civil rights act, it was normal for many southern states to be completely dominated by D's while the same states were solidly red for presidential elections. This phenomenon has all but disappeared in the south due to political realignments.
However, this phenomenon is still widespread in the New England region where fairly liberal Republicans, and sometimes even conservative Republicans (Paul LePage springs to mind) will often be able to win governorships or other state level positions regardless of those states being solidly blue at the presidential level.
Also, remember that in the Rockingham district we saw roughly 300 votes missing from ALL republicans, so this seems to suggest that any fraud not only affected the presidential election but ALSO the state elections in favour of D's.
So claiming that a discrepancy between the state level results and the presidential results is somehow proof of fraud is fake news, which makes it really easy for D's and the MSM to disprove and hence make the accusations seem silly. Don't fall into that trap! Focus on the fact that 300 votes were missing instead.
