Yes and no. There is not so much a right and left anymore. Many leaders on both sides have shown us they cant be trusted. I agree with you that more democratic leaders have proven to cheat their way through the game but the cheating is not limited to the left. Left & right is not society as a whole. you have many people on both sides that follow blindly. You also have many people that just go about their lives choosing no sides because they are content with not taking part or knowing any of it. Little things like this may raise a few eyebrows and make a few think.

Honestly I just find humor in it. If the article said he was found innocent after said claim then no it would not be funny at all.
