Consider adding The Watchmen along with V for Vendetta as they were both originally written by Alan Moore who for some reason didn't like his stuff to be made into movies. Given his claimed background as an occultist it seems that the things he knew he turned into story idea's. Like Matt Groening does on the Simpsons. Alan's storylines always circling in and out of the theme that "Hero's" are not always pillar's of morality and virtue or friends of humanity. And the one's who are friends and real truth seekers just happen to be almost insane ( Rorschach). Was one of the first writers in the comic world to write with these central theme's. Followed by Frank Miller ...reworked Batman into The Dark Knight and of course Sin City. Both with some element of a Cabal Deep State with it's storylines. (sadly some parts of Dark Knight are never used in film preferring not to push those buttons instead of a deep state we get The League of Shadows I will hush now. Peace.
