When I was a kid in the 90's, I used to complain about being born at such a boring time in history. I mean I was learning all about the pilgrims journeying to America, the American Revolution, pioneers settling the west, etc. Life just seemed so much more exciting. Little did I know what was to come just 25ish years later lol
dude we lived in a time BEFORE the world changed forever and AFTER (i.e. (9/11; internet; smart phones and social media)
We know what it was like to only have 5 channels on TV; to have to pick up the phone to talk to your friends; to meet new partners in a pub or restaurant etc. Kids these days will never know any of that. They will never know true boredom of a Sunday afternoon pre-internet when all you had to entertain yourself were books.
I remember leaving the house after breakfast and not coming home til it was dark. Literally outside all day playing with friends and neighborhood kids. There were tough times with some kids or whatever and I believe kids these days NOT having that will have a negative outcome overall.
