Eh with common core, the schools are doing a really good job of keeping kids uneducated all on their own.
Yeah but wouldn't you like them to be even more uneducated? Don't set small goals, dream big.
Lol
I guess it depends on their parents. If kids are homeschooled by their parents who love and care about them and their education and choose a decent curriculum that focuses on the mastery method instead of the spiral method, the kids will get a FAR better education in half the time. Public school wastes so much time. I read a study once that looked at how much time a public school teacher spends just correcting behavior. On average around half the day is spent getting kids' attention and correcting bad behavior. That brings actual teaching time to closer to 3-4 hours, and from those I know that homeschool their kids, this is about the amount of time they spend homeschooling. And the rest of the time their kids get to be kids. Heck my sister sometimes spends more time helping her kids with their homework than other moms spend doing all their kids schooling.... and the homeschool kids I know have gotten a much better education. My sister's kids are so smart, but they read and write way below their grade level because of how they are being taught. It's awful.
The public schools are awful. They are one of the most awful things in our entire country. If I could choose to abolish public schools or the central bank, I would probably pick the schools. That'd be a tough choice though actually!
Lol really tough. I'll take both please. I'm greedy like that hahaha
They are just sooo awful. I encourage every parent I know to at least strongly consider homeschooling. There are so many resources available, now. You can give your children an incredible education, and it's really not hard. You can research and buy whatever curriculum you decide is best, and find some great educational games/materials. Many of these things are cheap. There are printables you can get for less than $50 that are filled with reading and writing games that will go through several grade levels. And for that price you get a ton of materials.
I would choose the bank just because I can still homeschool my own children.
