Almost snorted my coffee. Gotta laugh sometimes.

Brita filtered water only tastes good when it's cold. Pur filters work much better
If you have fluoride in your water supply, Brita or other water filters don't get it out. I got a Big Berkey water filter, it is 300 bucks (including the fluoride/arsenic filters which are separate) but definitely worth it in my opinion.
Been using a regular Berkey for 8 years. I replace fluoride filters every year and just replaced the Berkey filters for the first time. Berkeys filter out EVERYTHING. Everyone should have a way to filter water. These things let you use pond water or a mud puddle to get clean water.
I love it. I probably have to replace the fluoride filters.
Yep, neither does reverse osmosis. We had been drinking either that or distilled purchased water for 30 years until we found out RO doesn't remove fluoride. We started using our Alexapure, basically like the Berkey and can use the same filters, last year. We run RO water and then put it in the AP for extra removal of the fluoride.
We actually have a whole home filter, which does not filter fluoride, but added on a RO system for drinking water. That seems to work pretty good
The last 15 years or so I have been finding PUR filters at thrifts for crazy low prices, so I stocked up on all I could find and probably have bought around 3 dozen over the years. Using 4 a year, at this time I have 4-5 years worth pennies on the dollar.. Our water in Colorado has won 'awards' for several categories, BUT, the distribution system is old and fraught with pollutants. Net result?? Award winning water tastes even better... BTW, I have stashed around 30 gallons of filtered water "just in case".. :)
