Racism *is* real, if a minority. And its right here among us.

Thats a good way to answer the question.
With this, are you implying that there indeed are different races? If we came from the same source then surely a child that is a mix of two ethnically different people would not be called biracial?
But ill have to disagree with you on just melanin part. There are plenty of other differences. For example, best swimmers or world strongest men are mostly white, chess and engineering is dominated by oriental people, athletic sports that involve a lot of running is dominated by black people.
As for mixing on biological level, well we are all subspecies of human species. Just like how a poodle can crossbreed with a retriever. Both dogs are vastly different from each other, so your argument doesnt stand up in this case.
This is not a great way to present an argument, as you instantly label someone who would disagree with your point of view as a "racist" thereby instantly trying to shut down any and all attempts at having a discussion with different perspectives, which is counterproductive.
How about this, what is your opinion on how the external environment effects physical and genetic changes of a species?
Step 1: We all come from one starting location. Step 2: Some people decide to leave. Others decide to stay Step 3: The people who left home base will be forced to be innovative to survive in a new enviroment. These new innovations (ideas) will produce new solutions like automation.
Our environment forces us to "ADAPT" and come up with new ideas.
This is why some people will be good at certain things vs others. Adapting is the most important thing in the world.
I hope this makes sense.
What you are referring to a LEARNED SKILL SETS!!
Skills will be based on need of environment and interest.
Ok, but you didnt answer my question. Does external environment have an effect on physical and genetic changes of the people who decided to leave a location of origin?
Yes.. I believe it does over time.
IF we all started from Africa like most believe. Leaving a hotter climate and into colder climates.
Would change people's physical traits over 1000s and 1000s of years.
Ok, I agree with you here.
Given that we all started from Africa (which these days is being questioned by a few people) over a long period of time there would be an accumulation of many genetic changes to individuals.
Surely all of these miniscule changes would add up and create major attributes that could easily identify a race of people not only at a visual glance but on a genetic one? Just how you can see difference between Nigerian people and Somalian people, or German people and Russians, or Mongolian and Japanese people.
At this point you can not claim that those changes are insignifican as how you did earlier in the conversation. IF we all come out of African origin, and you look at a person from africa and compare them to a chinese person, there is no way you can make any valid claim that they are the same people, with insignificant genetic differences. Unless your idea of genetic differences is something along the basic lines of "they got a skeleton and blood flowing through them, and anything else is an insignificant difference".
But with such logic you can say a horse is the same as a whale, only with small insignificant biological differences.
