Are there reasons that I shouldn't try this? I think it could be a real unifier, while also getting us back to the constitution if there is a corporate pushback on the freedom of religious expression. I'm reading the Bible, but currently I don't have any concrete connection as to how Christianity prohibits mask-wearing specifically.

Nah, it won't work. They will point to the many many self-identifying Christians who wear their masks like docile sheep. Not to mention that the legal protection enforcement is at best dubious, since they've worked diligently against any faith restrictions. If you're looking for an excuse, medical will get you far more sympathy and success than religious.
But if you want a principled stand, go maskless until compelled. You can also go for the crochet-style masks, or putting grommets in a mask, to highlight the stupidity and increase actual breathability.
lol, I've been rolling up the handed-out medical masks so it just covers me lips, in an effort to show people it's much more of a gag than a viral-defense.
What I'm searching for is a unifying standpoint so that we can herd the sheep, figuratively. Most of the people wearing masks, I hope, are just people who have been indoctrinated to give their allegiance to the highest bidder. They don't wear masks in the car, but if they're never going to put up a fight about wearing masks at work, schools, airports, then they'll rollover when Satan ushers in a 21st century communist revolution. God is the supreme authority, and this post is turning less into a question-beggar, and more of a call-to-action so that we can wake people up by reminding them that we don't answer to petty tyrants, but rather, the Lord.
Amen!
