THANQ to all the Frens here who work around the clock to "fact-check" disinfo and debooonk shillery. It's the reason why, on news sites for example, I usually scroll down to the comments section of articles that I can tell are just complete trash because you'll generally have people there who are more insightful than the damn piece they're commenting on. Same with red-pilling going on in the comments of lefty YouTube videos that get ratio'd.
I appreciate the enthusiasm from all Frens, but if a headline is overblown or not what it's being made out to be, I'd rather get accurate information than something that is incorrect but manages to boost my hopium levels.
We all need accuracy, clarity and cohesiveness if we want this thing to keep running smoothly!

The amount of obvious Fake News on this site is crazy. There is a distinct difference between a "theory" and just "reporting" something as truth. 5 minutes of research could debunk some of the craziness occasionally posted on this site. For example, people are going wild over the SOTU Address when a 2 minute search could clarify that no president in modern history has given one during the first year of a term.
Trump delivered his first address to Congress on Feb. 28, 2017. His first year.
President George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama all delivered SOTU addresses their first year. All in February.
Trump will be speaking at CPAC on Feb. 28th, the same date he gave his first address. Biden has no date to give any address at all. Nothing to see here.

Ironically, that took me 5 minutes.
I do not believe it was an official state of the union address but rather an address to a joint session of Congress. Attached is the official records of State of the Union addresses and no president in modern history has given an official state of the union address in their first year according to the documents

What you want to call it doesn't matter. Fact is every modern President has given their first address to congress in February. Trump, Clinton, both Bushes, and Obama.
That Biden has not given one yet is at least notable and there's nothing at all wrong with discussing it.
I’m simply pointing out that according to official government records there is indeed a difference between a SOTU and Joint Congress Address
