Why doesn't the CDC have a sample of the COVID-19 virus?

A real sample or a picture of a real sample? All I've ever seen on TV and the internet are animated pictures of what the virus is supposed to look like.

I'm thinking if the CDC has physical samples of bugs like the ebola virus and the bubonic plague, why not a sample of the COVID-19 virus? I don't even care if the virus is dead, just give me something tangible to go on. . . .
