I have a vague suspicion Biden is behaving in a manner his cronies can’t explain, and they are terrified. As if he has totally cut them off without warning and is not telling them anything. It would make sense if you think of Biden as just another criminal. What did Trump leave him that was so “generous?” Why that choice of word?

A deal. Play the game as instructed and the family is safe. Maybe even Hunter. But most likely a promise that all of the family would somehow be quietly taken care of. The same deal offered to mafia.
