This ushered in the "WAR ON TERROR", mass surveillance, pre-written Patriot Act, invasion and destruction of the middle east, suspicion and hatred of Muslims, bring in the NEW WORLD ORDER.

correct, IIRC the "patriot act" had been written 15+ yrs prior to 9/11 and they were tired of waiting for a reason to enact it, so we get 9/11
