It is wrong to teach hate at a young age. Who knows what that person wearing the dress was going through at the time. Ignorance is not a trait I would want my children to possess.

Hatred is learned from those who are supposed to guide us through our formative years. Hatred is a result of ignorance. Ignorance is weak. Thus, if one is full of hate, they are weak.
