Not only did they skip testing steps, its also not a vaccine. Its a cancer therapeutic (still in testing and not yet certified for general use).

The mRNA is a plug and play component. That makes it very easy to use this technology for all sorts of diseases. Its fantastic in theory, its utter crap in implementation.

This particular technologies main flaw is that it has an indiscriminate targeting and release system. This means that although they want it to go to certain cells (like muscle or fat cells) it can actually go anywhere.

Once it enters the blood stream it can get into blood cells, vascular cells, kidney cells, etc. This can cause all kinds of problems. It also can cause both local and systemic inflammation responses including allergic reactions. All of these responses have been seen. sometimes causing fatalities.

It is because of all these responses that this technology requires further development (at best) and is not certified for general use. Since after a decade of testing it hasn't found general approval, it is instead being used on the whole planet in a forced technology test.
