I'm beginning to think there's more to my newest massive overcharge than an accounting error. I reserved a room at the Holiday Inn DC near the Capitol on Priceline and paid in full immediately for the two nights using my Bank of America Visa card. I registered my Visa card with the hotel at checkin to cover the $50 day parking charge.
The hotel proceeded to charge me for 4 nights parking to which I called and complained. They ultimately reversed that charge then billed my credit card two new charges, $310.82 and $265.50.
I've read Bank of America gave the FBI receipts of all charges made in DC those two days. Amazon Prime mysteriously removed every picture and video I took those days but all before and after pictures are fine. Is it possible the Holiday Inn is out for revenge against Trump supporters too?
Get out of Banks, go to credit unions or small community banks
IIRC there was a story about how the FBI was contacting hotels in the DC area on the specific dates, building an Int picture, it must be connected surely?
I doubt they would risk isolating themselves from half the country for a few hundred bucks. Especially considering Holiday Inn has many locations in red states.Have you heard of this happening to anybody else? I would say probably an honest mistake but you never know!
