I for one am not in favor of this. Some are dooming genuinely. Yes this is the cover shills are using, but we will just stagnate if we outright ban it. 50% of newcomers come here because they doom.
The mods definitely check.
It’s not an automatic boot, by any means.
The mods, in my estimation, are very generous in assigning mal-intent.
But some, many in fact, people definitely need to be voted for exactly those reasons. And this streamlines the process.
But no honest newbie is going to get booted from this change - not by a long shot.
