Do not confuse corruption of some with corruption of the institution, per se. Satanists know Catholicism was founded by Jesus, their arch enemy, and do everything in their power to tear down His Church -- historically, by persecution, more recently, by infiltration. Several decades ago, multiple waves of marxists, masons, and perverts covertly entered seminaries and convents, with the goal of destroying from within, and causing scandal and confusion throughout. Many got into positions of influence and power in the hierarchy, causing further damage. Nevertheless, there is Christ's promise, that the gates of hell would never prevail against His Church.
All non-Catholic denominations are splintered groups, tracing their own origins back to fallible human founders, in every case rejecting some aspect of the authority of the Catholic Church, in exchange, setting themselves and all followers up as individual popes (everyone free to choose their own interpretation of everything) -- exactly why there are now thousands of denominations, itself a scandal to those seeking the truth.
Check out the writing of the earliest Christian writers - Irenaeus, Polycarp, Clement, et al -- aka, the fathers of the church. They clearly echo what are recognizably the unchanging teachings of the Catholic Church, including Jesus' real presence in the Eucharist, importance of baptism, confession of sins, etc.
"To study history is to cease to be protestant" -- Cardinal John Henry Newman (former Anglican, converted to Catholicism.
I think you are certainly on to something there. I think the Satanists have made a concerted effort to corrupt our most sacred institutions - learning, art, and of course religion.
The seminaries seem like they have really been infiltrated. My husband was recently speaking with a number of young men who were studying to become Catholic priests and they were all extremely flamboyant and were studying "queer Catholic theory," with extremely explicit topics that frankly are too rude to repeat here.
However, my husband and I really like the tradition and culture of Catholicism and understand a lot of practicing Catholics are fighting back against the perversion of their religion. The only issue is, how do you protect children from the pedos who have infiltrated the religion?
Great question. It isn't easy, yet it is necessary, and God blesses your efforts.
Many seminaries have had ongoing cleaning efforts, since pope JP2 (moreso latter half his pontificate), or have been shut down, if deemed too far gone. The infiltration often included putting in perv-sympathetic filter personnel, who actually rejected the good candidates, and let in the mixed up ones (in some cases, with active recruitment as well). Even seminaries where this did not occur as much still often replaced solid theology, philosophy, logic, homiletics, etc., with wishy-washy pop-psychology classes, and worse.
So, there's been a lot of damage, and lots to recover from, in the Church -- but with all it's current disfigurement, it still is the church Christ founded. It is past time for lay Catholics to realize they need to become more active participants in helping correct course -- supporting the good priests and schools, and providing systems of accountability in each diocese.
For protecting kids, you can take a variety of strategies, and combine them -- ask around for word of mouth referrals of good priests (and there are many), verify that the parish and any affiliated schools are accurately teaching Catholicism, and not some DS/DC heterodox agenda. Educate yourselves and kids with ongoing good catechetical training, and age-appropriate counsel on what to watch out for and avoid.
One highly recommended tool for teaching sound catechetics is the amazing book by Barbara Morgan, "Echoing the Mystery" -- it combines beautiful art, music, scripture, excerpts by church fathers, and apologetics, in explaining every dogma -- including also common errors and misunderstandings, and why those are wrong.
