On the flipside, I know someone who had the flu during pregnancy, got intubated, and lost her baby.

Are women in those groups stupid? I am asking, not trying to insult.

I've pointed this out on another post how women who are pregnant are told not to take certain medication (probably 99% of what's out there), drink alcohol or coffee, smoke, etc. There are restrictions in place for both the woman's health and the development of the baby. Then what makes these women (and doctors) think that taking any vaccine is somehow safe?
