So ridiculous. I've never seen that symbol before. I doubt hardly anyone has.
And it's preposterous to say the GOP or the conservative movement has anything to do with Nazis or socialism or fascism. As among the two major political movements in the US, only the Dems/Left have associated themselves with socialism and fascism and the tactics of the Nazi party of propaganda, censorship and ostracism.
So either this stage was built by this Left-leaning organization intentionally to embarrass the GOP or it isn't a Nazi symbol at all and sites like Wikipedia have been populated after the fact with the symbol to wag the dog.
It's a rune, BFD. Runes were our alphabet until very very recently and even American English used some of them well after Independence.
Say what?
Everyone thinks "Ye olde times" is said, "yee!" but that is a runic Thorn -- not a Wye. It has a "th" sound as a consonant and not the "yeah" sound of sometime vowel Y which is a variant of I.
IOW "Ye olde times" is pronounced, "The Old Times" just like today.
