I agree with everything you typed. You are only echoing my comment. There is no dark turn. Not sure where you’re getting that from. You probably listen to pop music of some sort.

As you said, we have no use for falsehoods and distortions. Easier to just say bullshit, but to each their own.

Truth is just truth. Joy or pain have zero to do with it. Until you get that, you will never see it. You will be lead around by your biases that bring you joy when confirmed. People believe what makes them happy and rationalize backwards from there.
