There are going to be a lot of homeschooled children soon, and that’s hopefully followed by a shit ton of people refusing to pay taxes to the public school system.
Homeschooling is already increasing dramatically, so this actually makes me happy to see. Common core is dumbing down an entire generation. It's depressing to see. Everything they teach is contrary to common sense. The mastery method is clearly the best way to teach. Spiral methods only lead to huge gaps in knowledge and I'm seeing that with my niece and nephews who read/write 4-5 grade levels behind where they should be and don't know their multiplication tables because they never had to memorize them. (6th and 8th grade). These kids are so smart, but they learn nothing in school and yet they have hours of homework. And helping them with their homework is insane. Everything is online. They don't have textbooks anymore. So you have to hunt through and find all these separate articles to read.... it's horrible! It takes hours. My sister could do ALL their schooling in the amount of time it takes to help them with their homework and they would be a lot further ahead.
Work smarter not harder. Common core literally is the opposite. If God ever blesses me with sweet babies, I will NEVER send my kids to public school. Homeschool all the way. And the idea of it honestly makes me excited. To get to teach and learn along with my kids would be such a joy.
Man you worked in both corporations and don't know that such ideas are forced by managers not average people don't caring about company history ? Come on...
People working for those companies are ones who have to implement it only. Any serious IT engineer who would be asked to make such system probably wouldn't be using punny QR codes when you can use connection to database using better ways.
I am not in IT,but I know that. Why even to bother to scan QR,it is terrible idea from engineering point of view when you have everything connected to the net.
