Don't be fooled. The Republican Party was NOT asleep when the 2020 election was stolen.
The Republican Party COLLUDED with the Democrats in the election fraud and cover-up. BOTH parties were involved in the ballot cheating, refusal to audit the elections and blocking any meaningful investigation.
Just because the people seen stuffing the ballots through the counting machines dozens of times weren't Republicans... doesn't mean that the Republican Party wasn't fully involved in other ways.
I completely agree - most of the Republican leadership was complicit and participated in the fraud and cover up. All of those people need to be removed.
I'm in support of POTUS direction here, he "owns" the R party with record support. Easier to take what is ours than to "start over" with a new party. The right approach as he has stated is to remove those that no longer align with our goals and objectives, which unfortunately means most of the elected Rs today.
I'm still amazed that McConnell failed in getting Trump convicted in the impeachment trial. Clearly, that is what he wanted to do. My best guess is that he tried to get support behind the scenes, but couldn't get enough, so he decided to vote to aquit using some lame excuse and then instead excruciate Trump in his on the floor speech in a feeble attempt to get the party to distance itself from Trump. It obviously backfired, but I am amazed that he even thought it would work. On the other hand, he is still miority leader, which is also incredible. What the hell is the senate GOP thinking? On the one hand they are clearly not properly behind Trump, on the other hand they fear us too much to actually get rid of Trump. At the moment the focus is on rectifying 2020 and reinstating Trump, but when that is accomplished the focus should immediately shift to getting rid of the RINOS and those who merely pretend to support Trump in the republican party. I foresee some brutal primary battles in 2022.
I think you read it right.... if he could have gotten the votes to convict, he absolutely would have. The did not "get rid" of Trump because they failed in doing so... some of the senators actually love the country and agree with Trump (a small number). Others know if they went against Trump they are essentially giving up their seat. Loyalty to Mitch keeps them in the gravy train. Mitch wants to preserve the system at all costs, and does not care if he is in the minority or majority, he makes money either way. Most of them would absolutely love to get rid of Trump. We aren't letting that happen.
Assuming that we get Trump reinstated at some point, I want to do some thorough research on GOP senators and congressmen before the 2022 primaries, to figure out who can be trusted (not very many) and who should get the boot (most of the senators, I feel). There is some real work to be done there.
I’m sure there are plenty on the right who were complicit in what has transpired over this last election cycle. Watch out they are coming for our guns next week....
Don't fool yourself, the republican party establishment was not sleeping, they actively aided in the removal of Donald J Trump from office, and handed command of the military to marxists. Yes, the republicans did that. It wasn't an accident. The establishment is evil, all of it.
