I'm always curious if by the time I get notified, the vehicle to watch for has already passed me by. People reporting all different times they received the alert which puzzles me. Is it the same alert? Outside of time zones is it carrier controlled? Prior to latest update software, I have never received one on my phone.
exactly. i'm a programmer so to see how little they care about this is just another signal of the problem
if you're going to wake someone up in the middle of the night because they want amber alerts, shouldn't they help the person receiving the message know if there's a chance in hell that they can help?
my alert should have said..."we believe amber alert left st louis 3 hours ago and heading towards colorado right now"...
We got three all around 3 am. WTF? Comms? Wife finally turned off the amber alerts.
I thought these alerts always hit everyone at the same time. We have T-Mobile service in MO and received the alert at exactly 4:15 am.
Must be carrier? Patriot mobile.
woke me up in ks. turned off amber alerts :(
shouldn't these go out in a way that people want to help?
