Honestly man, psychedelics. I was born into a catholic family, but never really believed it. I assumed it was just stories to explain the world in a more superstitious time. That is until one night on an acid trip I heard the words "'I'm going to show you what happens after you die," coming out of no where. Immediately after I had an out of body experience. I can only logically conclude after that is that a soul is real. As for that voice, it has been the only time I heard that voice, and it came at a time when my inevitable fate was scaring me. That voice helped me through it. Psychedelics make the user feel as if one with the universe (almost as if there is a big bright ball of light, love and happiness watching over you). It mimics the brains reward system (the part that makes life truly worth living). It fits perfectly for me, every time you feel happy, you see God in a little way. Take psychedelics (making you unnaturally happy) you see more of him. I understand a lot of you may dislike this, but I'm not asking you to legalize it recreationally (although that would be great). I'm asking to legalize for medical trials, because if my experience is repeatable, then that could be used as evidence for the existence of a soul. From their, convincing people there is a God, would be much easier. I thought you guys were crazy, I thought God was a creation of man, yet that 1 trip brought me here.
I experienced this with LSD (a lot less intense) perhaps I should have been more specific. I've never attempted to see new worlds, only enhance it. DMT is definitely not for everyone. LSD only ever the once made me hear something that wasn't there. As for bad trips, I prefer to think of them like nightmares. They're manifestations of personal demons, its resisting a bad trip that makes it bad. Being able to face your demons can be very constructional. LSD also binds to serotonin receptors, which corresponds to happiness and joy, so practically all trips have happy endings (afterglow). But yeah, DMT is fucked.

It’s super subjective - you’re blessed to have seen what you did.
I saw terrible things.
A lot of people think these are demons.
Tony Podesta is one.

Supposedly if you congregate with them enough they convince you to do absolutely terrible things.
My gut is it’s bad shit. Bad bad bad
