It's either one of two things:
1.The white hats want to hammer home the point to any leftists in the military that their oath is to uphold the Constitution.
or
Thats right sir
Third option: What if all prior oaths are rescinded as the D.C. corporation is finished and a new nation is in effect. I don't know where Austin's allegiances lie, or from whom he actually takes orders .
Interesting thought -- could be.
It wouldn't make sense for a dictator to take over the military and not have them swear allegiance to him.
Even a puppet seeks affirmation from the ordinary Oath keepers...
Enlisted oath includes following orders of the President and officers appointed over him. Officer oath is to the Constitution only.
I, (state name of enlistee), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. (So help me God)."
The enlisted Oath includes the same verbiage regarding the Constitution that the officer Oath does. Our first duty is to the Constitution and then the orders of the President and officers appointed over us. Also important to note that in no case are we obligated nor expected to carry out unlawful orders. We are legally bound to carry out proper orders and not to carry out unlawful ones.
Thank you
If an enlisted member swears to follow the orders of the President (not Resident) and the officers appointed over him, and those officers have made an oath to uphold the Constitution, then logically, enlisted members are swearing to uphold the Constitution by the simple act of following orders of the officers.
Officers are the key, yes.
As they should be. :-)
The NCOs are the backbone of the Army. No Officer can do the job without his team.
Following lawful orders
yes!
Wtf, my oath said to defend the constitution. Dont know what oath yku swore.
“Vandalizing government property and storming a police barrier is not an exercise of First Amendment rights,” a Navy discussion guide states. “Similarly, speech in the workplace that interferes with the mission, espouses extremist or discriminatory doctrine, or is disrespectful and harmful to colleagues, will have consequences.” blood keeps on boiling
They didn't care of the let commies in since Clinton administration. Tjeybare the only extremist yku nee ld worry about
Fuck that. My oath mattered the first time. My affirmations were for reenlistments and when I became law enforcement. I'll be damned if anyone would 8nsult me with this shit. And Biden deserves death.
The very same oath that all members of his administration see no need to uphold?
They're trying to impress upon our Sailors who the current President is.
