I think because for most people it’s too unbearable to think about or talk about. Almost as if they don’t want to believe that it could ever be true because it’s too scary. When I try to talk to normies about it, it’s always met with complete disbelief.....because you don’t “hear about it”. As a parent myself, to actually even have the thought of my son being hurt in any way or taken from me is the scariest thing I could possibly think of. People run from things to be scared of. Cognitive dissonance..can not believe what you can’t wrap your head around
