I'm aware of the how TDS operates overseas, and your stated it elequently. I have quite a few friends from Europe proper and many have an attitude of lackadaisical smarm towards Trump and American Media in general. They tend to not be as rabidly TDS as the yanks I know of that persuasion, not as hate filled, but theres a really distateful schadenfreude on display. After the election they mostly got bored of bombarding me with MSM tomfoolery and turned their attention back to whatever pop culture they can scrape together these days. I think that says a lot about how it is over there... Frankly, over here as well.
