I've thought this for years, but not until today did I have the guts to share. So without me going into details let's play a game...
Just for giggles spend one evening watching TV and keep track of how many commercials are for drugs and insurance and others.
Once you have the results let me know who you think is really controlling this Country.
I will be interested in knowing if you come up with the same conclusion as I have.
I don't watch regular TV, so I never see commercials. Would love to hear your thoughts, though.
I noticed it tonight...I don't usually pay attention as I fast forward, but tonight I was busy in the kitchen. Every single show had commercials for DRUGS! Followed by commercials for INSURANCE! It was so obvious. Big Pharma is controlling our lives in every aspect.
I am considering writing an article about it but not sure I want to put myself in the limelight, considering the power big pharma has.
I was hoping posting it here would make people see it for themselves.
Oh yeah Big Pharma is huge. I can see that. I go years without taking any kind of prescription drugs, but my gosh everyone I know is on something and goes to the doctor for every little thing. It's crazy. I treat my own ailments as much as humanly possible. I only go in if I can't take care of it myself, which is very rare.
Also, what percentage of our Rx drugs are made here in America? Imagine what would happen if at any moment the countries making our drugs decide (for whatever reason) to stop. Within a week, how many over 50 would die from blood pressure alone....would bring the country to a halt. Trump was on the right path, Biden already has us 'sitting ducks'.
The United States and New Zealand are the only two countries in the world where direct-to-consumer (DTC) advertising of prescription drugs is legal. Think about that.
We had friends from Germany visit a couple years ago and they were aghast at all of the drug advertising on our network TV, constantly. It was something they still talk about.
Big pharma runs medical industry, the word pharmacy derived from pharmakia Greek for sorcery...
