You've been watching a bit too much "The Matrix", humans are a terrible source of energy for something as intensive as crypto mining.
I always hated that bit in the movie, in the original script it was something more sensible that humans were processors in the computer grid but studio execs thought that people would not get it and understand the concept of a beowulf cluster of human minds.
The tech behind cryptocurrency is Blockchain. Any tech could be used for good or evil, by the good guys or the bad guys. There are more than 4,000 cryptocurrencies in existence as of January 2021 (https://www.investopedia.com/tech/most-important-cryptocurrencies-other-than-bitcoin/). Heck, even my beloved Doctor Krieger (the goofy mad scientist from Archer animated series) created his own, Kriegerrand.
Bill Gates definitely is using his cryptocurrency for evil. Blockchain, since the beginning, had the potential to put down and replace banks and government institutions, because you don't need the "middle men" anymore. Think Napster, peer-to-peer transactions. Evil side knew about that. Years ago, I had read that Microsoft had purchased the largest number of servers to create the largest blockchain network in the world.
On the other side, the good guys (a global team) created their own cryptocurrency using advanced Quantum tech (QFS: Quantum Financial System, which was allegedly launched last week).
Connecting the dots (Q and real world news), I believe we will be using the good guys cryptocurrency ;-)
AI regulated quantum based economy sounds good to me if it became globally accepted and open source/reviewable in every country. Something like that would make me less concerned about the Feds interest in QFS. They would also have to accept all crypto in at their existing value I believe - or lose a lot of trust in its establishment. or eliminate existing cryptos without leaving a trail... It's interesting stuff.. to say the least. Maybe with a big enough crash they won't need to?
Ah...patent 060606...nothing to see here...totally not the mark of the beast...
Mine Pi. No Dr. Bluescreen.
