I saw a little kid crying, and when he saw me smile at him without a mask he stopped crying. When his mother walked away the kid kept turning around to look at me and when I was out of his view he started crying again.

I am praying that something happens tomorrow, since anything more than a “one year trial” of the “new normal” would be even more damaging to kids’ brains likely in ways we don’t understand.
