I checked some of their source code and have some interesting findings.
George.news uses the app id 362293833600.
<meta content="362293833600" property="fb:app_id" />
If we look the owner up, we get the following response from FB: https://graph.facebook.com/362293833600
"category": "Utilities",
"link": "https://paper.li/",
"name": "Paper.li",
"namespace": "paper_li",

Ok so I want to find out what this paper.li is about, they provide out of the box platforms for news/blogs just as George news is a customer of them. Ok so far.
- I digged further into the api of this platform, it was created in "created_at":"2018-10-21T18:23:02Z". So the account that george news uses, is much older (pre-planned) or spin-off from failed project?.

What really bothers me, Paper.li is owned by Finity SA (finity.ai) according to their Privacy policy https://paper.li/privacy.html.
On their website there is a video under the tab "events" https://finity.ai/#onglet1|2 where they hosted or monitored the World Economic Forum Live event tweets etc. So the company behind the platform of George.news is working for the WEF!
The profile picture below of george news links to https://dfns.tv, which redirects to their youtube channel a whois search doesn't bring anything up. Who can dig further into this?
https://defensetv.org is also build on top of paper.li it has a different and more realistic creation date. "created_at":"2020-02-06T08:22:55Z"

They are tracking every move via the following integrations: Twitter, facebook, google analytics (GTM), Addthis button and paper.li tracking. Hello privacy ?
QDROP Seems more than a coincidence that this drop was also in 2018. Could it be that they knew that George news was Fake News psyop? https://qalerts.app/?n=529 credits: @Blind_Marksman
UPDATE
BIG FIND: they are loading https://z.moatads.com/addthismoatframe568911941483/moatframe.js into to George news website. Searching for moatads on Google gives you the following result:.
Moatads Moatads.com is a browser hijacker that comes to your computer in the form of add-on for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. ... Moatads.com also can analyze your browsing and collect your personal data. Some data may be transferred to third parties without your consent.
Update: Addthis and Moat are Oracle company products, just some more tracking services. If you have adblock enabled it will block them by default. Never trust google as main source.Thanks @scyenceFiction
They don't have a privacy policy or terms and conditions page. Every website has one even GAW. Who are they?

This entire thread is detailing how a marketing website works. Paper.li is a system as a service, they don't work for anyone. It's connected to their social media accounts which what all marketing websites do. Moat[ads] is an ad service from MOAT https://moat.com/
I think you jumped the gun on the conclusions being made here.
This entire thing and the way everyone is responding towards it goes against the nature of what we want. Everyone including Evspra is sounding like an angry mob reacting to emotions on a whim.
The question is why are they using this specific platform? Especially when its linked to big tech companies. I don’t know any other media company that uses this platform.
And the companies behind the Trump platforms (Twitter, FB, YouTube, etc) literally rigged and ripped away our democracy and they are leveraging their unparalleled power in order to continue censoring Americans.
I'm fine with being critical of George.news and "paytriots." I haven't bought any of their merch and don't intend to, but I don't like some of these arguments.
Heck, if you go to https://www.donaldjtrump.com/ right now you will still find Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, etc... and these companies are traitors to the highest degree! FAR worse than selling a couple sweatshirts.
Why would you know anyone else using it? I'm sure there's a ton of small business's and mom and pop shops that use it. Why does anyone choose a service? They read reviews and pick which suits their needs the best. This is a competitive space and start ups pop up everywhere around it. There's a ton of reviews and articles describing it as a good tool to use.
I'm a software engineer.
https://www.trustradius.com/products/paper-li/reviews https://www.pcworld.com/article/2013965/review-paper-li-creates-your-personalized-online-newspaper.html https://www.commonsensemedia.org/website-reviews/paperli
They don’t even have showcases of websites that they are hosting. They don’t have reviews on their website. The links you mention are fishy as hell. The second link review comes from “ Generic Company Place Holder Paper.li” give me a break!
They use the same Facebook app and GTM code for all these websites including theirs. If you are a software developer you should know this isn’t normal. You want your own analytics.
Not every service has reviews or lists of their clients. That's a pcworld article and it looks like she didn't remove the default text in front of "Paper.li".. you're jumping the gun here with a wrong assumption. These were quick links I picked up, I'm sure you could find better quality information if you dug. Ther's a lot of tools you never heard of that is similar https://www.trustradius.com/products/paper-li/competitors
Not every company can do their own analytics so they use these tools with Facebook to handle their marketing. Not every company uses the hottest/most popular tools or can afford to do their own things.
I'm 100% with the plan and discerning how this is all unfolding. I can 100% assure you that you're going down the wrong hole here.
I can assure you that I'm a software developer and have been for some time.
