I think some of the people who got banned were auto-banned by bots. They have said several times that reposting the same content repeatedly will flag the bots, so if anyone did that, it would be an explanation. Also, they seem to try to keep their feed pretty positive, so if anyone was being nasty (not saying they were, but I'd say it's possible!), that could have been a factor. They said they were closing comments temporarily to clean it up and work on the bots that were banning people unnecessarily. Just some theories based on what they said on tg. I guess we'll see how long comments stay down and how things get handled after they come back up. I will say, though, that I have yet to see them respond to anyone in a nasty way at any time, and I've read a LOT of their comments over the past month and a half or so. Take it for what it's worth, and I have loved this board ever since I found it a couple months ago, but all the nastiness I've seen since last night's chat has been pretty one-sided. Not that everyone here has been rude about it, obviously, but there has admittedly been a fair amount of attacking going in only one direction.
